FSSAI registration is a mandatory compliance used to ensure the safety of food products and it is essentially a food safety certificate issued by the food authority in India. FSSAI License or FSSAI Registration is mandatory before starting any food business.
There are 3 types of registration:
- Basic Registration
- State license
- Central license
Basic Registration required in case of starting business or in case of turnover is below 12 lakh.
State license required if turnover is more than 12 lakh but below 20 crore.
Central license required in case of Business is in multiple states.
